Well, after weeks of looking for an answer (two... XD), the Texans finally found what they were searching for. Matt Schaub took command in the beginning of the game, by going 9-12 with a TD. The Texans at times dominated the Arizonal Cardinals, but who are we kidding? The Cardinals weren't exactly a playoff team to begin with. At least it looks as if we're at the median of the league.
Jacoby Jones, again stoodout. His 80 yard punt return was the highlight of the game. He even had a few catches, as well.
Kris Brown's still proving he's worth keeping. He's 8/8 on the preseason.
Let me get back to Matt Schaub. Remember that Bootleg he had a free touchdown at last week, but instead he wasted the rollout to pass the ball with an incompletion? Gary Kubiak wouldn't let that happen again, as Matt Schaub used the rollout to his advatage to run for 5 yards on his way to the endzone. He had 108 yards on the day, and he looks great. Much better than last week, even though he didn't do anything wrong against the Bears.
Jared Zabransky is much better, it seems, than Van Pelt. Zabranksy looked a little nervous at times, but you could tell he had poise sometimes too. He also ran the offense more efficiently than Van Pelt.
Our running game did decent too! Green's trying to prove he's not over the hill, and he show'd he still has wheels this game. Again, sorry for the lack of stats, HoustonTexans.com does not show them.
Overall our first stringers looked great, it's just... ya know, the lack of pressure that's still a problem.
Our Texans won the game 33-20.
Bring on the Cowboys!
